Hello!


The aim of this blog is to explain how tidal energy is converted into other kind of energies. We are going to show some examples of it, and explain the concept of renewable energy too.


Today, we are going to star talking about renewable energy and the importance it has in society. Renewable energy is energy which comes from natural resources like sunlight, wind, rain, geothermal heat and , of course, tides,  which are naturally renewable. About 16% of global final energy consumption comes from renewable energy. They are great chance for the future because they don't contaminate.


One of the most important is wind power, because it is used in a lot of countries (about 3% of global energy). It consist on reusing wind's kinetic energy, and convert it into, for example, electric energy. In this video we show hoy windmills work.

This is a kind of energy, but the one we have chosen is tidal energy. There are a lot of ways to obtain it, here you have one them
